Powering the Future: Cerco Cable Partners with PolyLoop Montréal 🚀

Imagine a capsule levitating and traveling at speeds exceeding 1,000 km/h. It sounds like science fiction, but for the brilliant student engineers at PolyLoop Montréal, it is the future of public transportation.

At Cerco Cable, we are passionate about innovation. That is why we were incredibly proud to support this Canadian university team by providing the cabling infrastructure for their latest Hyperloop prototype.

What is the PolyLoop Project?

PolyLoop Montréal is dedicated to designing and building a scalable Hyperloop pod—a high-speed transport system that uses magnetic levitation to move through a low-pressure tube. It is a complex engineering challenge that requires precision, durability, and reliable power distribution.

Award-Winning Engineering

The team recently presented their prototype at the Hyperloop Global 2025 competition, and the results were outstanding. With Cerco Cable on board, the team took home 4 prestigious awards, including the award for Power and Propulsion.

This specific accolade is particularly meaningful to us, as it sits at the very heart of our expertise. It serves as proof that when high-performance engineering meets high-quality cabling solutions, great things happen.

Supporting Local Talent

We want to extend a massive congratulations to the entire PolyLoop team for their hard work and vision. Supporting the next generation of engineers and local innovation is a core part of who we are at Cerco Cable.

We can't wait to see where this project goes next!
